DID YOU KNOW?

chearoco is a beautiful peak that looks much impressive close than it does from the Altiplano. It can be accessed from the west and east, with the western access via the Kelluani Valley being the quickest.

It is also possible to do a combined expedition of Chachacomani and Chearoco in a 7-day itinerary, really a challenge to visit these two lonely mountains in the middle of the mountain range.

This route has been avoided for years due to reports of foreigners having difficulties with locals, but it is now safe.
